Removing Paint

We can do a lot to take paint off of the floor before we do our SandFree process. In the case above and below, we didn’t know what the floor was like underneath the carpet and pad which we took up. When we found the paint, the customer thought she might have to sand the floor, but elected to pay for approximately 6 hours of hand work to remove this paint. This was oil based paint that had been carelessly dripped on the floor before carpet was installed. If the paint had been latex based and sprayed on the wall, there is a good chance the normal process would have taken the paint off without special hand work. Even with the 6 hours of hand work, we were able to finish the job in 1 day – if you call leaving at 7 at night one day – but the customer walked on the floor that night at 10.
