| Small Homes:
There are specific
issues that we resolve in smaller homes:
1. These homes are "furniture dense" which means that on a per
foot basis, there is a lot of furniture. Therefore, we sometimes
have to do 1/2 of a room at a session. On the second day we'll then move all of the
furniture onto the finished area, and finish the other side.
We'll come
back on the third day to place the remaining furniture in the
correct positions.
2. Normally there have been lots of floors installed - vinyl,
carpet, ceramic, different types of wood - mostly in small areas.
The images on the right show some floor conditions that we
normally see in smaller homes. The stairs are one type of
wood, partially finished on the sides because rubber treads had been
installed in the centers. The foyer is a different wood with
the the linoleum adhesive still visible from a vinyl installation
years ago. |
